Google AdSense Launches Newly Designed Home Page

AdSense publishers can see it by logging into google.com/adsense. The publisher will be presented with an option to check out the new design, which is aimed to help you “focus on key day-to-day information.” It appears publishers must now use the new dashboard Google AdSense began testing toward the end of last year, and not everybody is happy about it. According to comment threads on both the Google AdSense help page and WebmasterWorld, users were recently switched to the new home page without the option of using the former dashboard.

Publishers no longer have the option to use the old dashboard.

The newly designed AdSense home page was originally released last November, with users having the option to switch between the former layout and new design. Unsurprisingly, some publishers failed to switchover, being at home with the more familiar layout.

While many of the comments on Google AdSense Help Center and Webmaster World are from users who are unhappy about the switchover, Marketing Land’s Ginny Marvin claimed the new design included a cleaner, fresher layout when she covered its initial launch last November:

Google is testing a new home page design for the AdSense publisher console.

AdSense publishers can see it by logging into google.com/adsense. The publisher will be presented with an option to check out the new design, which is aimed to help you “focus on key day-to-day information.”
